Check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* \u200bApproved building plan? Check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* \u200bAllocation papers? Check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bMy client was ready to transfer the deposit. &#8220;Let\u2019s lock this down before someone else grabs it,&#8221; he said.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But I noticed something. Every time we visited, the same tiler was working on the same bathroom. For two weeks. If a house is &#8220;finished,&#8221; why is one man still tapping at a wall for fourteen days?\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I went back alone on a Tuesday morning. No developer. No polished agents. The landowner had told the workers that if anyone bought those specific units, there would be blood and court orders.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8220;urgent sale&#8221; wasn&#8217;t for a new project. Verify the relationship between the partners. If the landowner and developer aren&#8217;t on speaking terms, you are buying a lawsuit, not a luxury home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bBefore you sign that transfer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* \u200bAsk for the Sharing Agreement (Supplementary Agreement) between the landowner and developer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* \u200bCheck which specific units are allocated to whom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* \u200bAnd please&#8230; talk to the man holding the trowel.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because in Abuja, the &#8220;Big Men&#8221; sign the contracts, but the &#8220;Small Men&#8221; know where the bodies are buried.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t let your \u20a6450m become &#8220;Development History.&#8221;\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Invest with Peace of Mind\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t get caught in the &#8220;Ghost Terrace&#8221; trap.
